Happy Holidays from ABAC!

This years ABAC Holiday Party was a HUGE success!  Hundreds of toys were donated in plenty of time for the Holiday Season.  So THANK YOU to our wonderful ABAC members for your generosity again this year.

Congratulations to all of the Media Recognition Award Winners and Nominees as well.  Award winners can be found under the awards section above.

2012 was a banner year for ABAC.

Here are a few of the initiatives we accomplished:

ABAC started an Endowment Scholarship for The Grady School at the University of Georgia, we Partnered with the Alliance for Women in Media for the Atlanta Advertising Mentorship Program, raised money for the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition and helped the Feed the Hungry Foundation supply food to families in need over the holiday season!

Here's to an even more succesful 2013!

UGA ABAC Scholarship Announcement

On Thursday, June 28th a delegation from your ABAC Board went to the Grady School at the University of Georgia to consummate an endowment scholarship that will be given as long as the school is in existence.

ABAC President Sean Jones; "It feels great to give back to a school that has given so much to the Atlanta Advertising Community.  This small gesture on our part is the least we can do for a program that has and continues to produce driven, passionate and talented students who continue to leave their footprint on not just our industry, but the community as a whole.  ABAC Members and Partnering Companies should be very proud of this partnership, because without their support this would not have been possible."

The 1st recipient of the ABAC/ Grady Scholarship will be announced at our Spring Fling event next May.

2012 The Martin Sherry Scholarship Fund

The Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club and The Robinson College of Business Marketing Department at Georgia State University recognize students who are demonstrating their commitment to careers in advertising through strong classroom performance.

This Years award goes to Ms. Jessica Levy for the 2012 Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club Scholarship.  Jessica performed in an excellent manner in all her courses, and was personally recommended by Dr. Cathy Cobb Wahlgren, who recognizes career potential in her talented students, such as Ms. Levy.

Congratualations Jessica!
